The Scotsman Story

 

Every journey has a beginning. For Black Short India, ours began with a beer.

Scotsman Beer was born from a simple ambition—to create a beer that could stand confidently alongside established names while delivering quality, character and value.

We started by studying the market. We tasted, compared and researched different beers, ingredients and brewing approaches to understand what truly makes a beer memorable.

Then came the most important decision: quality over compromise.

We searched for the right grain and chose barley as the foundation of Scotsman. Through careful fermentation and a refined brewing process, we worked to develop the distinctive character that would become part of the Scotsman identity.
